in order to honor and support the Tribal communities of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai honored Baiga, Gunia and Sirha Tribal communities by giving them ‘shawl’ and coconut in a program organized at the Circuit House on Monday.

Highlighting these communities as the protectors of tribal tradition, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that traditional Tribal communities like Baiga, Gunia and Sirha will now be given honorarium of Rs 5,000 each year. This initiative is an important step towards promoting the cultural traditions of tribal society along with their economic empowerment.

On this occasion, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, MLA Jagdalpur Shri Kiran Deo, former MLA Mahesh Gagda and local public representatives were present.
