Israel: Israeli forces opened fire with machine guns in southeast Lebanon on Wednesday evening, according to Lebanese military sources.
The sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, claimed that Israeli forces deployed flare bombs on both sides of the border from the Hula axis, which stretches from Mays al-Jabal in the west to Shebaa Heights and Kfarchouba in the east. ,
Machine guns targeted Hamames Hill, located on the western edge of Khiyam city, as well as the road connecting the villages of Houla and Mays al-Jabal. The situation on the Lebanese-Israeli border deteriorated after Lebanon-based armed group Hezbollah fired tens of missiles toward Israeli military positions on Sunday morning in support of Hamas attacks on Israel, followed by Israeli forces with heavy artillery in Lebanon's southeast. Many areas were targeted.
Earlier on Wednesday, Hezbollah attacked the Israeli military site of al-Jarda near the Lebanese border with missiles, claiming that the shelling caused several casualties among Israeli forces.
