Hangzhou: The Indian team on Wednesday won the gold medal in the women's 25 meter pistol event of the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, while the 50 meter rifle 3-position women's team won the silver medal. In the 25m pistol team event, the strong trio of Manu Bhaker, Isha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan shot accurately and scored a total score of 1,759 after the rapid round and secured the top position by defeating China and South Korea.
The fourth day started with the silver medal. The trio of Sift Samra, Aashi Choukse and Manini Kaushik finished second in the 50m rifle 3-P team event. China won the gold medal while Republic of Korea got the bronze medal.
Earlier, Sift had finished second in individual qualification with a total of 594 points, while Ashi qualified for the women's 50m rifle 3-position final by finishing sixth.
