Tricolor hoisted in China, India won gold

Delhi: India has won its first gold on the second day of Asian Games 2023. This gold medal has come in the men's 10 meter air rifle team event in Hangzhou.

In the individual qualification round, Rudraksh, Divyansh and Aishwarya have done this feat with world records. India scored a total of 1893.7, which is 0.4 points more than China's world record set at the Baku World Championships in August.

After this event, China lost its place on the Games record chart along with the Asian record.

Let us tell you that with this, all three Indian shooters Rudraksh Balasaheb Patil, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar and Divyansh Singh Panwar have now qualified for the finals. Will compete against 5 others for three individual podium places.

Rudraksh, who stood third in the qualification round, scored the highest score for the team with 632.5 points. Whereas, Aishwarya stood 5th with 631.6 points. Whereas Divyansh was successful in making the cut due to having more inner 10 marks than Islam Satpayev of Kazakhstan. His last score was 629.6.

India has also won a medal in rowing on the second day of Asian Games 2023. The team of Jaswinder, Bhim, Puneet and Ashish has won the bronze medal. In this way, India has won a total of 7 medals so far. Which includes one gold. Let us tell you that on the first day of Asian Games 2023, Indian athletes had won 5 medals.
