Delhi: The third match of Super 4 of Asia Cup was played between India and Pakistan. In this match played at Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Bharat defeated Pakistan by a huge margin of 228 runs with the help of first centuries of wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul and former captain Virat Kohli and then five wickets of spin bowler Kuldeep Yadav.

This is India's biggest win over Pakistan in terms of runs in ODI history. Earlier, Team India had defeated them by 140 runs in Mirpur, Bangladesh during the 2008 Asia Cup. With this huge win, India's entry into the final of this tournament is almost certain. Now Pakistan will have to fight with Sri Lanka for this. If Pakistan also loses to Sri Lanka then it will be out straight away.

After losing the toss and batting first, India scored 356 runs losing two wickets thanks to centuries from Virat Kohli and Lokesh Rahul. Virat Kohli played an unbeaten inning of 122 runs and KL Rahul played an unbeaten inning of 111 runs. Before these two, Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 56 runs and Shubhman Gill was out after scoring 58 runs. Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi took one wicket each for Pakistan.

In reply, Pakistan team could score only 128 runs for eight wickets and lost the match by 228 runs. Injured Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah did not come to bat. In such a situation, Pakistan team could score only 128 runs for eight wickets in 32 overs.
