Delhi: Aditya-L1 will be launched on 2 September. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) announced this on Monday. Aditya L-1 will be launched from Sriharikota on September 2 at 11.50 am. Aditya L1 will go to a distance of about 1.5 million kilometers from the Earth and study the Sun. ISRO has completed its preparations for this mission. After the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission, now everyone's eyes are on this Sun mission of ISRO. Scientists believe that the Aditya L-1 mission will study the dynamics of weather in space, the temperature of the Sun, the effects of ultraviolet rays on the Earth. ISRO's Sun mission is Aditya L-1 which will travel 1.5 million kilometers from Earth to the Sun and study the Sun. This spacecraft will carry seven payloads. Aditya L1 will be placed in a halo orbit around the Lagrange point 1 (L1) of the Sun-Earth system, which is about 1.5 million km from Earth. From here you will get the benefit of seeing the Sun continuously without any interruption or eclipse.
The goal of the Aditya-L1 mission is to study the Sun from orbit around L1. Sun emits a large amount of ultraviolet rays and this telescope (SUIT) will study ultraviolet rays of wavelengths of 2000-4000 angstroms. This level of ultraviolet rays has not been studied before in the world before. Seven payloads will also be sent to space along with Aditya L-1. These payloads will study the Sun's photosphere, chromosphere and outermost layer. Out of seven payloads, 4 will continuously monitor the Sun while 3 payloads will study the particles and magnetic field according to the conditions.
