Rover walks on the surface of the moon for the first time after landing

CHENNAI: About two-and-a-half hours after Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) Chandrayaan-3 landed on the Moon's south pole, rover Pragyan took a walk on the surface. ISRO sessions informed that after Chandrayaan-3's successful landing on the Moon's south pole, the rover Pragyan ejected from the lander about two-and-a-half hours later. The six-wheeled rover is moving at the level of the moon.

ISRO tweeted and wrote, Chandrayaan 3 Rover, Made in India, is made for the moon. Chandrayaan 3 rover has come out of the lander and reached the lunar surface, India has now started walking on the lunar surface. More updates will be shared soon.
