The Tulip Garden covers 30 hectares between Dal Lake and Mount Zabalwan in Srinagar.
The garden, which was earlier known as Siraj Bagh, has not only beautiful tulips but also other spring flowers like hyacinths, daffodils, muscari and cyclamen. According to Srinagar Tourism, the park was opened in 2007 to promote floriculture and tourism in the Kashmir Valley. Built on sloping land, it is terraced and has seven floors.
